Dream House, 2011. There are no fixed ingredients for a successful film, but I think a good twist in a story is not the one where you outplay the audience. (spoiler) It’s not fair that you spent half the duration telling a story that only turns out as a hallucination. That’s not the kind of twist that I want to see. I only end up feeling cheated. And the hallucination really doesn’t add to the story. I kinda figured it out in the middle of the film and that’s when the plot began to drag.
